What can I expect during the massage?
Arrive a few minutes early, your appointment time includes check-in and treatment.
Fill out a confidential health information sheet. This provides the therapist with a basic understanding of your physical health. Some physical conditions are contraindicated for massage.
Determine which treatment is best for you. Your massage therapist may suggest a treatment based on health information you provided.
Disrobe to your comfort level. Massage is best performed on bare skin. (except Thai and chair )
Get under the sheet on the massage table. All areas will be covered except the area being treated.
Privacy is always respected.
If at any time you are uncomfortable or in pain, please tell your therapist.

What kinds of massage treatments are available?
Therapeutic Massage
Relaxing massage that also addresses pain or discomfort. Problem areas are treated with Swedish, deep tissue or trigger point therapy.
Swedish Massage
Relaxing, light to medium pressure applied in a smooth, flowing rhythm.
Trigger Point Therapy
Strong pressure, very specific treatments to tight bands of muscle that refer pain to other areas.
Deep Tissue Massage
Strong, slow pressure used to maintain healthy muscles. Full body treatment takes 1.5 hours.
Sports Massage
Fast paced, reduces muscle soreness, maintains tissues, and enhances sports performance.
Chair Massage
Quick paced, upper body treatment for stress reduction and relaxation. Client is fully clothed. Chair massage minimum is 15 minutes.
Hot Stone Massage Therapy
Employs a technique that uses smooth, heated basalt stones which are placed on specific acupressure points on the body to melt away knots, tension and stress. The hot stone experience relieves pain, promotes harmony, balance and peace. Minimum 60 minutes.
Thai Massage Therapy
Gently incorporates yoga type stretches in a massage environment. Client wears loose comfortable clothing (long pants preferred) and the therapist stretches the muscles and focuses on energy patterns. This massage usually leaves the client feeling limber, yet energized. Front position Thai is a one hour session. See special rates.
